Halong Tours

Your Halong tours begins with a 3.5-hour drive from the hectic pace in Vietnam's capital city, Hanoi, to the tranquil and beautiful Halong Bay tours. En route stop at the Hong Ngoc Humanity Center, a handicraft outlet developed to provide support to communities in the area including people's with disabilities. The handicrafts made at the center are available for you to purchase.

On arrival in Halong tours board the Chinese junk for your cruise on Halong tours, famous for its lime karsts jutting out of the green waters creating a spectacular vista as nearly 2000 islands fill the bay. Our famous all-day cruise is the perfect way to understand the sheer immensity of the karst peaks of the bay and the local legends and myths. From the boat you will be taken on a kayak tour through caves towards a sheltered lagoon, where the shouts of your friends echo off the cliff walls.

Everyday on Castaways' is a day worth celebrating. So celebrate we do. After your evening feast, you’ll be fuelled to party with a level of abandonment that can only be reached while on an island paradise in the middle of a stunning nowhere.

Meet the rest of your crew in Hanoi at the Downtown hostel location for a 7.00am departure. If you're staying Downtown, please be ready by 6.30 am and those staying at Original will need to be ready to leave at 6.15am. Travel by bus and boat to Castaways Island taking in some sights of Cat Ba National Park along the way. Arrive in time for lunch on the beach and fuel up for some activities

Get into the watersports! Not only are they a bucket load of fun but great for exercise. Go high-speed tubing! (our most popular). You and 3 friends will get real close while you bounce around Ha Long tours at speed while all trying to be the last one left on. If you’re a wakeboarder or you want to learn, what a place to do it! Our watersports crew will get you up and going for the most memorable wakeboard of your life. Go rock climbing! If you’ve already got a head for heights or if you want to learn, our professional rock climbing team will provide you with the highest standard of equipment and instructions you need to climb a cliff face and checkout Ha Long Bay Tours from up high.

As the sun sets, enjoy drinks on the beach, chill out with your crew or simply take a well-deserved nap in a hammock in preparation for a big night of partying!

DAY 2 - ALL DAY CRUISE (B, L, D)
Breakfast is served from 7am so you have plenty of time to get yourself ready for a day on a traditional junk boat cruising through Ha Long Bay Tours. You will depart at 10am for a cruise through the magnificent un-touristic mountain range of Lan Ha Bay, taking in the local fishermen and their floating villages. This is followed by an hour kayaking tour through ancient caves and a network of lagoons, getting the opportunity to possibly see the endangered Langur monkey, native to Ha Long Bay Tours. After your kayaking you will be treated to a traditional Vietnamese lunch offering fresh seafood, meat, vegetables, rice, noodles and fresh fruit (Vegetarian options are available and please let us know of any allergies at the time of booking). After lunch you can kick back and relax on the boat, taking in the amazing views, or go for a leisurely swim with your Castaways buddies. Before heading back in time to freshen up and be ready for dinner and a night of fun 

DAY 3 – CASTAWAYS ISLAND TO HANOI (B, L)
You do not depart the island until after lunch so lots of time to enjoy a slow morning, kayaking, a morning swim or maybe a well deserved lie in for Halong tours

Not all good things have to come to an end!! If you like where you are, stay. You’re welcome to continue your stay on the island and share your experiences with the daily new arrivals. You can pre-book it with our Travel Gurus at our travel desks, online or extend while on the island.

If you really have to leave, after lunch we commence the journey back to civilisation via boat and bus, you will arrive back at the Downtown Hostel at approximately 6pm.
